Evaluations

Psychological evaluations can provide clarity when you have questions about your experiences, symptoms, or diagnosis. An evaluation may be helpful when seeking diagnostic clarification, developing a treatment plan, responding to a request from a school or workplace, or better understanding patterns that may be impacting your daily life.

I offer a brief, comprehensive evaluation process designed to gather information about your history, current concerns, symptoms, functioning, and overall experiences. This process may include a clinical interview, review of relevant background information, assessment of current functioning, and the use of structured psychological measures when appropriate. At the conclusion of the evaluation, I provide a detailed written report summarizing findings, diagnostic impressions, and recommendations based on the information gathered.

Similar to my therapy work, I approach evaluations with curiosity, compassion, and respect for the individual experience behind the symptoms. I recognize that seeking an evaluation often comes with uncertainty, questions, or concerns about what the results may mean. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel understood while also providing a thorough and clinically meaningful assessment.

An evaluation is not simply about assigning a diagnosis—it is about developing a deeper understanding of your experiences and identifying helpful next steps. Whether the results guide treatment, support academic or professional needs, or provide greater insight into yourself, the evaluation process can be an important first step toward meaningful change.

“Your understanding of your inner self holds the meaning of your life.”
